Spread across 4 tracks, EP opener “Binarylingus” manages to couple a jerky shuffle unusually reminiscent of the awesome Wordy Rappinghood together with a jump-up 4/4 aesthetic that wouldn’t sound out of place in Cologne. “Interphasic/Metaphasic” is more recognisably Curtin, those beautifully spacious synths hiding a cornucopia of melodic arpegiated sequences and thumping kick-drums, just the way we like it. Ace!
