various artists - the force vol.2 - night drive music limitedThese are five especially wonderful, deep, clear, kicking and pumping tracks. A picnic in the techhouse land you never want to end, so fresh, free and so complete. Involved in this project are Stefan Mallmann (Whirlpool Sex), El Farouki (Plastic City), Neurotron (Deep Records) and M.Rahn (Trapez, Regular). These four people have found their place, a far away island of musical ideas, which has to be discovered. A1 Stefan Mallmann - Rock That Shit A wide beach of foamy and incredibly deeply rushing chords, a monster bassline, crackling sandcastles of rhythmic dreams and nice vocalsamples. No feeling of deepest desire can be purer than this. This track sets you far away, full of tension and emotions rises it like an hurricane over the sea, only caressing tenderly the earth to explosively vanish immediately again. A2 Neurotron - On A Journey A very smooth and superp deep tech-house track. The softly drifting and dramatic atmospheres lend themselves well to both, active and inactive listening. Percussion elements with recalling, suspending beats and soulfully swelling chords. Minimal, structured arrangements but maximal shifts of details in these make this tune to something very special. B1 El Farouki - Eternity With this extremely deep and absolutely sophisticated track El Farouki from Marocco shows how great dubby dance music can be. He packs the rhythms and grooves in a little blue parcel, pastes it with little sweet chords and very deep basses, prepays it with soft hihats, names it EL Farouki and sends it all to the dance floor. There the music releases its never-ending energy. It is perfect to stay awake, to forget everything for some minutes and leave it. Kicking minimalism as deep as possible. B2 M. Rahn - Officer Down The clashing rhythm frame flounders uneasily but is not loosing in the depth of space but is grooving covertly. Swinging delays and sounds, so hopeful, so lost but at the same time observing everything. Slowly awakes a deep, dub groove built on mountains of chords. The track develops unerringly and slowly to one of this dub track bearing all the silence in itself which, once unfolded in its full width, doesn't need to ever stop.
