Loftsoul Recordings is the new subsidiary label from R2 Records, spearheaded by Japanese DJ / Producer Uchikawa.
Loftsoul Recordings came flying out the blocks with first release “Dear Friend” with remixes from NYC’s DJ Spinna and Glenn Underground from Chicago.
Now DJ Uchikawa, (under his Loftsoul moniker) has teamed up with Glenn Underground for a full collaboration on the killer track “Sakura”. This flowing groove is given a proper musical workout with Glenn providing his trademark piano explorations onto Uchikawa’s electronic yet soulful beats – Japan meets Chicago to devastating effect! The B-side provides the Glenn Underground rework giving the track an alternative take of equal magnificence.
