After entering the stage with a track on Karmarouges various artists sampler “Traumschwiegersöhne” in late 2007 now it’s up to drum and percussion artist OELER to release his first 12” project. Since
1991 OELER joined various Rock, Pop and Jazz projects and started to dive a little more deeper into the techno and 4-to-the-floor cosmos in early 2007. He is the one who performed the drums on Gabriel
Anandas latest album “Bambusbeats”. Nowadays he hits the scene with his three track 12” Achterbahn.
A1. Achterbahn On the A side track *Achterbahn* atmospheric and traditional latin percussions merge with a softly warm and at the same moment driving bassline to a solid base wich combine the smooth
psychedelicsurface and the nearly siren styled theme to a harmonic sound design in one’s stride. It’s a track that lose itself in reveries but never loses sight of the dancefloor.
B1. Boxenstop *Boxenstop* is a classical primetime tune that joins two percussive instruments in a atmospheric driving base frame and wich easily transports the classical construction of the track theme to an ecstatic climax. With a few small escalating breaks and by using various hihats and rhythm instruments the track places straightforward its message: Twirl yourself round the dance floor!
B2. Affenpauke: *Affenpauke* is without no doubt the most melodic track of the EP. Atmospheric and drily wooden percussions are playing unisono with soft harmonies and a merging bassline and compose the driving base of the modulating bell theme that constructs itself with melodic synthesiser sounds to an ecstatic peak. *Affenpauke* is a track that presents scope for reveries and at the same moment conciliates a feeling of positive energy.
