Max Cavalerra sets out for the sun in search of the perfect mixture among harmoniousness and drive. The titel track 'Der Weg zur Sonne' relies on melodic harmonies wich necessarily conjure a grin upon your face but without a cheesy appeal. At the same moment these tunes score the goal and not as usual by strong highlighting beats or breaks. Max Cavalerra plays with his new sounds wich can not necessarily be found in a minimal techno production. He is convinced that this track reflects a genius mixture of the used synthies, just for the creation of timeless music wich should not be stucked into a drawer. This track is is like no other 100% Max Cavalerra music! The flipside track 'Enigma' is a curious worn groove wich switches between driving loops and a dark ambience. At this juncture Max Cavalerra fields on strongly fading bell instruments from the Far East and a slight jazzy bassline to create this entirely self-contained ambience. The track should evolve his impression in the middle of the night as well as in the early morning hours. Powerful, impulsive, juicy and at the same time pending. Just imagine to have a clear vision several kilometers along the seabed. B2 track 'Nostalgia' is based on a feeling of sadness. For Max it was all about to leave a lost love behind, to make peace with the past and to look ahead. Using soft tunes and sounds he creates a very relaxing atmosphere and announces a musical thought-provoking impulse: "The heart always listens too!". 'Nostalgia' is the fusion of love, heart's blood and electronic music.
