Greenhouse pull out a romperstomper of an ep with this multi artist release. Ghettofunk vs Blacksoul start off with a Jason Hodges-style cut 'Gotta Feel It'. Tough beats, hip-hop vox cutups, and bouncy bass. Further to that GB goes with the A2 cut 'Help Me Thru', a more layered track with vocoded vox fx and lots of quirky feel. Flip for the debutant Tracy Cooper's 2 tracks. 'Uptown' is a jackin jazzy groove with live horns, big upright bass and well placed sampling. Definitely a track for the Heather/Sneak crowd. 'Green Grass' is a really funky slice of hybrid jazz with latin bassline and bluesy piano stabs. The horns stabs work well within too
